DAY 3 or 4?- WHERE DID DAY 3 GO?

Well, we started out on Day 3 but because of the date line we were in Day 4 before Day 3 was finished. We boarded our flight in Honolulu at 1:30 pm Wednesday. I set my clock on Manila time and it was 7:30 am Thursday. Didn’t feel right!

I am writing this post from 34,000 feet. No internet connection but I will connect in Manila.

Last night we stayed at the Hawaii Prince Hotel that I got on Priceline. It is in the Marina Area.

Positives: The view: Every room has a view of the harbour and ocean beyond. Amazing view! You can open your window wide open and breathe in the fresh ocean air. One of my favourite views is of a habour so it was a winner! The location: Close enough but far enough away from city centre. Very quiet. There is a free shuttle to city center every half hour starting at 12:30 pm.

Negatives: Charge for Internet even in lobby area. Bit worn and dated (but clean) Positives definitely outweigh the negatives. Would highly recommend.
