DAY 15 – TRANSFER BACK TO MANILA

Today we are traveling back to Manila.

We are at Starbucks….

Waiting game for our flight out….

My “jealous son” wants a green mango shake! Seems like yesterday the family was here enjoying green mango shakes together. I was remembering the BananaQ and the calamansi shakes we had then! And the basketball Matt played in the compound with the Filipino guys.

I have enjoyed fresh banana shakes this trip as well. Can’t beat the fruit shakes here!

The L’Fisher Hotel is the nicest hotel in Bacolod. It is worn but clean. As it is with most hotels in Asia the lobby is very nice. The restaurant has a decent breakfast and the Pancit Molo is fabulous. They serve it with hot yeast rolls.

………in Manila. When we checked into the Hyatt they informed us that they didn’t have any more regular rooms….we would have to be upgraded to a top floor suite….I told them we would try not to be disappointed!

Wow….such a large and beautiful suite…..gorgeous view of the Manila Bay and Manila. Guess we’ll have to be satisfied with this upgrade!

DAY 16 – Manila

Today we met Ryan, Honey-Lynn and Colin as well as the family of Michael De La Pena for lunch at the Robinson Mall. Michael is in Australia. His family hope to join him in December.

We found out at lunch that our flight that is supposed to go out at 7:35 pm tonight is delayed until 5:30 am tomorrow. We are extending our stay here tonight.
